us for a lecture and demonstration on The Asian Medicine Chest: Chinese
Parent Medicines for Common Ailments
Common patent medicines for use at home.
Uses patent medicines typically do not need a differential
diagnosis such as common cold/flu, sore throat, cough,
indigestion/stomach flu and first aid/Analgesics. Lecture will also
cover other aspects of Chinese herbalism, including GMP standards,
tonic herbalism, and the use of licensed practitioners for treatment of
more comples illnesses with Chinese herbs.
You will have an opportunity to learn about Samra University, the Masters &
Doctoral Degree program and information on admissions. You will
also be able to tour the campus and visit the Clinic and Chinese herbal
pharmacy.
