New Students:
Samra University will be offering scholarships to all incoming students from the Summer Quarter beginning July 2009
through the Fall Quarter 2009. Each qualified incoming student is granted up to a $3,000 scholarship to be disbursed over his/her academic career at Samra University. The disbursements of the scholarships are contingent upon the student
making satisfactory academic progress and maintaining professional and ethical behavior.
Current Students:
"Presidential Scholarship"
Beginning Summer Quarter 2009, $500 will be awarded each academic quarter to one student from each language section (English, Korean, Chinese). Criteria for consideration include:
- Community involvement in on-campus and/or off-campus activities that enrich life at Samra University, benefit the profession, and promote growth of the individual as a future health care provider.
- Academic merit
- If the student is an intern, his/her ability to recruit and retain patients, actively promote our clinic, and conduct himself/herself in a caring, competent, and ethical manner.
