Title of Practitioner: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from ACCAOM plus NCCAOM certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors, osteopaths and podiatrists may practice acupuncture in Wisconsin without any specific training.
Acupuncture is not within the scope of practice of chiropractors.
