Title of Practitioner: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from ACCAOM plus NCCAOM certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors and podiatrists may practice acupuncture in Virginia with 200 hours of instruction in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
