Title of Practitioner: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from ACCAOM plus NCCAOM certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors and osteopaths may practice acupuncture in Utah without any specific training but may not use the term "acupuncturist".
Chiropractors may practice acupuncture in Utah without any specific training.
