Title of Practitioner: Certified Acupuncturist ( C.A. )
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from an ACCAOM plus NCCAOM Certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
In order to practice acupuncture in New Jersey , a medical doctor or osteopath must have a minimum of 300 hours of training in acupuncture.
Acupuncture is not within the scope of practice of chiropractors.
