Title of Practitioner: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from an ACCAOM plus NCCAOM Certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors and osteopaths may practice acupuncture in Indiana without any specific training.
Chiropractors, Dentists and Podiatrists must have at least 200 hours of acupuncture instruction in order to practice acupuncture.
