Title of Practitioner: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from an ACCAOM plus NCCAOM Certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors and osteopaths must complete a 300 hour board approved course in order to practice acupuncture in Georgia .
Acupuncture is not within the scope of practice of chiropractors.
