Title of Practitioner:
Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)
Education and Examination Requirements:
1725 hours from an ACCAOM plus NCCAOM Certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors, osteopaths and chiropractors must have at least 250 hours of acupuncture instruction in order to practice acupuncture.
