Education and Examination Requirements:
Four academic years education plus NCCAOM certification
Practice of Acupuncture by other Health Care Providers:
Medical doctors and osteopaths may practice acupuncture in Alaska without any specific training.
Chiropractors may practice acupuncture after completing an educational program in acupuncture from a college accredited by the Council of Chiropractic Education.
